"Carry On My Wayward Son," piece I have in Bottleneck Gallery's show tonight! The theme is The Gang’s All Here and I naturally chose Team Free Will! Limited edition prints will be available and part of the proceeds go towards charity.
If anyone is in the NYC area today, the opening starts at 7:00 PM at 60 Broadway in Brooklyn. I will totally be there, and would love to see you!
EDIT: The limited ed. print is now available here!
Team Free Will’s first scenes
Take a moment to look at the lighting, the shadows, the primary colors…Sam is seen in RED, the color and hatred that would one day take over his body and soul. Cas is in YELLOW, at first as bright as the light of his true form only to dim out in the end. And Dean… our dear Dean is submerged in BLUE, overcome with sorrow and the burden of his past. The beauty though is the fact that these three need each other. They balance and compliment each other just like the primary colors.
And I’m bleeding, and I’m bleeding, and I’m bleeding
Right before the lord
All the words are gonna bleed from me
And I will think no more
I already miss the weight on my back
the fact that Sam is already holding Cas up perfectly fine on his own but Dean still flails and runs over like a worried boyfriend
Dean your homo is showing
Anyone else notice how Sam also moves his hand from Cas’ chest like “Oh shit, I’m in Dean’s territory.”
And then Cas leans right into Dean as soon as he gets the chance, even before Sam’s hand moves
Did you also notice me on the floor crying?
Yes I did. You have lovely hair.
Old man Dean! And his young man :3
I have a huge soft spot for older Dean/always-young-angel Castiel. There has to be a little bitterness in my curtain stuff. I like the sadness of it, but I also love the idea of Castiel loving Dean no matter how he changes over the years.
I also firmly believe he would be there when Dean dies, and leaves for heaven mere moments after him. lalala you can’t tell me different
